Every six months, our members come together to create an impact on the community through the selection of a local organization. Along with our donation, we also promote awareness for these organizations.

The Farmer Angel Network of Western Wisconsin aims to raise awareness and provide support and resources for farmers dealing with mental health issues. Their mission is to remove the stigma around mental health in agriculture and provide a safe space for farmers to seek help and support. Their team of mental health professionals, farmers, and community members offer a range of services, including counseling, support groups, educational resources, and events to help farmers manage their mental health and well-being.

the Fair

Congratulations to Pierce County Friends of the Fair on being selected as our 2024 Impact Award Winner! Together, we donated $11,000 to this organization!

ABOUT PIERCE COUNTY FRIENDS OF THE FAIR

 

Pierce County Friends of the Fair is a nonprofit organization established to help with improvements and upgrades to Pierce County’s fairgrounds. Impact Award funds were utilized to purchase lights and other materials necessary to improve and expand the Light Up The Fair event held at the fairgrounds annually in December. This is a free community event that includes holiday lights, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, cookie decorating, crafts, a petting zoo, s’mores, and caroling.

Spring valley seniors staying put

Congratulations to Spring Valley Seniors Staying Put on being selected as our April 2023 Award Winner! Together, we donated $11,100 to this organization!

​About Spring valley seniors staying put

​

The mission at Spring Valley Seniors Staying Put is to coordinate volunteers to help seniors and adults with disabilities to maintain their independence. Services provided include rides to events, appointments, and stores, Meals on Wheels deliveries and/or food preparation, light housekeeping, home repairs, and yard maintenance, pet care assistance, and socialization/companionship opportunities. This assistance allows clients to maintain their independence and improves their quality of life

The mission at Elsie’s Barnyard is to restore and strengthen the hearts, minds, and souls of children and families facing adverse medical conditions through interacting with animals and nature. Specially trained professionals, paraprofessionals, or volunteers in association with animals that meet specific criteria deliver animal-assisted activities at Elsie’s Barnyard. This allows participants the opportunity to grieve the difficult circumstances they face, acknowledge the adversity around them, and cultivate relationships with others with similar experiences.
